Our Story

Originally an 1800s family farm, Snug Harbor Farm is an immersive, ever-evolving property specializing in hard-to-find plant material and landscape design suited for life in Maine and greater New England.

Today, a team of gardeners and designers work to care for some of the loveliest properties while serving as stewards of the 19th Century farm. Under only the third property owner since the 1800s, the farms’s current incarnation includes greenhouses, a nursery, a lifestyle boutique, an extensive line of terracotta designed in-house, and landscape design and fine gardening services. Our team is on the property seven days a week ready to welcome and share the magic with our visitors from all walks of life.
