sd-stumpCome and see what Snug Harbor Farm is show casing on June 25th from 5-7pm. You will never look at a tree stump or a fallen tree branch ever the same! Local artist and rustic wood craftsman & furniture maker Steve Doe from Kennebunkport will be Snug Harbor’s featured guest. Steve will have many of his pieces on display at Snug Harbor for you to see and purchase if you happen to fall in love with one.

Steve has a few of his pieces at galleries in Brooklyn, New York and Acadia. With his woodpiles at his home location, Steve has over 100 pieces of furniture he is ready to make for anyone with a special order. His creative passion is to take a stump or a branch and make an heirloom piece of furniture that is exactly what the client wants. sd-birdhouseHis inspiration comes from the wood. As there are no two exact same pieces of wood, there are no two exact pieces of furniture Steve makes.

If you would like to learn more about Steve Doe, you can visit his Whitten Hill Studio website at

We hope to see you soon!
