How does trout pate’ on herb-buttered toast points sound; or seared scallops with pea puree and local ham? Well you are in for a treat! This year we are hosting for Christmas Prelude a Book Tasting!
What is a book tasting you ask? It’s a new type of gathering we came up with! While over the summer when Frances Palmer was here at her artist reception I decided to make a few appetizers for the event. One just happened to be out of one of the cookbooks we carry here in the shop. It was a hit with the guests and every copy sold out.
With this fun new idea on December 7th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. we will be sharing 5 different recipes with you from 5 different cookbooks. We offer all the books here in the shop plus an amazing aray of holiday decorations and gifts. So please join us friends and come hungry and filled with merriment for this will be a prelude event you will not want to miss!
