Soaking up the Sun

We are now halfway through September and summer is still hanging on with every drop of slowly dwindling sunlight. The crisp nights are prompting a last hurrah in our gardens with abundant blooms of dahlias, zinnias and cosmos. Time to make a plan for all the exterior containers and who will make the cut to move indoors.

Speaking of moving containers inside, check out our upcoming workshop that will address how to renovate your succulent garden for maximum indoor success. You’re welcome to build one from scratch, if you prefer.

We’ll be planning many meals around the vegetable patch. What has your garden produced that is bringing the most joy to your mealtimes? We’ve been partial to the patty pan squash and cherry tomatoes!

“Everything You Need to Know and a Cup of Joe”

The last of our DIY series, “Everything You Need to Know and a Cup of Joe” will discuss the ins and outs of designing with and planting bulbs. These Sunday garden discussions have been a big hit this summer. We love gathering and sharing our experiences and information with farm friends.
