Jumping Into June

June at Snug Harbor Farm

Jumping Into June with so much going on!

We’re kicking off the summer season, welcoming favorite designers of ours from Studio 412 and digs. They will be introducing new work and bringing back some of the classics. All will be available at Snug Harbor Farm throughout the summer season.

In the spirit of dressing up and being festive, we will also be offering a Wearable Flower Workshop to explore how and where to wear flowers. It doesn’t have to be a wedding or a prom (but it might be).

June also marks the start of the summer art calendar at Snug Harbor Farm. We couldn’t be more excited to host the fabulous Kelly Jo Shows and a collection of paintings based on the farm. Her work in Wings, Roots, Paws and Hoofs captures the energy and the life on the farm.

Needless to say our planting season has produced a new crop of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs. Keeping with the theme, we have brought back some favorites but are always also exploring new terrain. Such is the life of a gardener and a plant lover. Looking forward to your visits and helping you make every corner just a little more beautiful.

Maine Home + DesignClassic Gardens, Modern Business – From English gardens to Instagram, Snug Harbor Farm owner Tony Elliott finds inspiration in all the right places.

In the late 1990s, Tony Elliott was driving along Route 9 in Kennebunk when he spotted a “for sale” sign. It stood in front of a long and low farmhouse… more.

And Speaking About Food

We are focused on food this year at Snug Harbor Farm. In addition to our standard vegetable plant offerings (tomatoes, lettuce, herbs) we’ve brought in some more exotic offerings of papaya, avocado, olives and figs! There’s a luscious line of pestos in the shop by Bella Cucina, as well. So stop by, browse, drink in the sights and smells of our beautiful spaces.
