A 3-day Intensive Plein Air Workshop
This painting workshop at Wardbrook Farm, will focus on selection of subject, composition, values, color and technique. Individual attention will be given throughout the day to each student and cater to their choices of medium and creative direction. A cocktail gathering and critique of the work to follow the final day of class on August 2.
Beth Rundquist is a Fine Artist in New York and Maine. She received a BA in art from Smith College and studied drawing and painting at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Connecticut, L’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris and the Repin Institute of Russia in St. Petersburg.
Beth has traveled in the US and abroad to paint landscapes and commissioned portraits and has received numerous awards for her work including the Richard and Mary Schroeder Portrait Award, Bryan Family Foundation Award and Circle Scholarship awards from the Copley Society in Boston, Massachusetts and the Merit Award from the Portrait Society of America.
Her oil portraits and paintings hang in private and public spaces around the world.
